What is the Cranberry Tattoo Classic?

The Cranberry Tattoo Classic is a tattoo convention held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Pittsburgh-Cranberry, just 30 minutes north of  Pittsburgh. This event brings together top tattoo artists, vendors, and enthusiasts from across the country for a weekend of live tattooing, vendors, contests, and more.

How can I buy tickets for the Cranberry Tattoo Classic?

Tickets for the 2024 Cranberry Tattoo Classic are available at the door for $20/day or $40 for the weekend. 

Can I get a tattoo at the Cranberry Tattoo Classic?

Yes, you can! The Cranberry Tattoo Classic features some of the best tattoo artists in the industry. While many artists accept walk-ins, booking an appointment in advance is recommended to secure a tattoo from a specific artist.  There will be Pittsburgh tattoo shops and artists from around the country ready to give you your new favorite tattoo!

What should I bring if I plan to get tattooed?

If you plan to get tattooed at the Cranberry Tattoo Classic, bring a valid ID, cash (as many artists prefer cash payments, although most accept credit cards), and any design references or ideas you have. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area you want tattooed. There will be an ATM on site. 

Are there competitions or awards at the Cranberry Tattoo Classic?

Yes, the Cranberry Tattoo Classic hosts various tattoo contests throughout the weekend in several categories. You do not have to get your tattoo at the show to enter a contest unless you enter Tattoo of the Day, Best Multi-Day, or Best in Show. All contests are $10 cash per entry. We will also have a PinUp Contest on Saturday.

What other activities are available at the Cranberry Tattoo Classic?

In addition to live tattooing, the Cranberry Tattoo Classic offers a variety of activities, including live music,  piercing services, and a wide range of vendors selling everything from tattoo supplies to unique art pieces. There are also seminars and workshops for those interested in learning more about the tattoo industry.

Is the Cranberry Tattoo Classic family-friendly?

The Cranberry Tattoo Classic is a family-friendly event, thoughtfully organized by parents of an 8-year-old who understand the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. This year’s convention will feature a special kids' zone, a kids' tattoo contest, and even a visit from Santa! 

The event is designed to ensure that families can enjoy the world of tattoo art together, making it a perfect event for everyone.
